Virtual Small Groups in Writing Workshop (Grades K-2)

The heart of workshop teaching is meeting student’s needs through small groups and conferences.  In this session created for teachers in Kinder through 2nd grade, teachers will study how to teach writers in small groups effectively while teaching virtually.  Teachers will learn key structures for small group writing instruction and how to maximize and plan for this time with students.   It is highly encouraged that teachers take the Teaching Writing Workshop Virtually Course prior to this session.   Each teacher will receive resources and tools to assist them with small group instruction.
